Anita Silvey writes about The Lemonade War on her Children's Book-A-Day Almanac.

The winner of The Great Lemonade War Contest has been announced! Poinciana Elementary School in Naples, Florida, raised over $10,000 to help fund kids' cancer research. Jacqueline will visit the school to thank the children in person.

The Lemonade Crime is on Booklist's "Top 10 Crime Titles for Youth" list.

• Bank Street College of Education named The Lemonade Crime one of the "Best Children's Books of the Year".

The Lemonade Crime has been nominated for the Dorothy Canfield Fisher Book Award.

The Lemonade War is the winner of the 2012 Nene Award, which is the children's choice award for Hawai'i, along with The Invention of Hugo Cabret, by Brian Selznick.

The Bell Bandit has been named a Junior Library Guild Selection.

The audio books for both The Lemonade War and The Lemonade Crime are now available.

A terrific group of boys in Harrisonburg, Virginia, raised money for their town library after reading The Lemonade War. The local news station covered the story.

The Lemonade War inspired students at South Elementary School in Breckenridge, Texas, to raise money for the Red Cross. Watch an animoto to find out how much they raised. (You won't believe it!)
